‘Ghost Are People Too’ Kickstarter: A Gothic Picture Prose Story Book For All Ages

As it is the season of the witch with Halloween only days away, we thought it appropriate to bring you news of a great new Kickstarter for an illustrated prose picture book. A book all about a simple, ordinary ghost boy by the name of Ethan Alby and called Ghost Are People Too.
Ethan has a family—just like you. He likes playing with toys and his dog, Mini Ricky. Sometimes, though, Ethan gets scared. In Ghost Are People Too, Ethan shares what scares him, how difficult it is to share a home with a living girl he’s fallen for (when she doesn’t even know he exists), and why we shouldn’t be afraid of one another.
Written and drawn for all-age readers, this 42 page book is by cartoonist, television producer, writer, art director, designer, director, music composer and performer Peter Ricq (phew, that’s quite the list of accomplishments) and, as you can see from our preview, a book suited for fans of Neil Gaiman (The Sandman), Tim Burton (Edward Scissorhands) and Edward Gorey (The Gashlycrumb Tinies).
