AWA Studios And Simon & Schuster Strike A Distribution Deal

AWA Studios have partnered with publishers Simon & Schuster, Inc. in a new distribution agreement that will see the book publishers handle book market sales (graphic novels/trade collections) and distribution to the United States and Canada beginning March 1st, 2021.

But, AWA Studios will continue their direct market sales and distribution with Diamond Comic Distributors.

AWA Studios CCO, Axel Alonso, formerly the editor-in-chief at Marvel, commented on this new deal in the accompanying press release:

“AWA’s first wave of trade paperbacks performed well above expectations, so I am very excited to enter into a distribution agreement with Simon & Schuster, who will no doubt help us reach an even broader audience.”

So, a continued presence in comic book stores will expanding their reach into book stores it would seem? And, with a good few seres now in the can, they’ve got a good line up of collections already. It’ll be interesting to see how this works out. As even, we’ll keep ’em peeled for you all.
