Mike Mignola: Drawing Monsters is a new documentary that takes fans behind the scenes of how Hellboy went from a simple sketch to an indie comics phenomenon. Mignola has undoubtedly earned the title of “living legend” but still remains as down to earth as ever.
Hellboy is like a common ancestor who inspired all of my favorite comic creators. As someone who wants to see more creator-owned comic-universes, and as a casual Hellboy fan, I’d love to see an in depth look at the history behind this influential artist.
