DC Comics Announces ‘Batman/Catwoman Special’ #1 From Tom King And John Paul Leon
by Olly MacNamee
Batman/Catwoman gets a special interlude one-shot this July, which means a guest artist. That guest artist is none other than John Paul Leon, who teamed up with series’ writer Tom King previously on ‘Black Death in America’ from Vertigo’s CMYK: Black issue in 2016. This special one-shot “traces the life of Selina Kyle from her earliest days to her entry into the criminal underworld, and reveals that Bruce was actually a presence in her life all along. Some great romances are destined to be.”
And, in case you’ve been living under a rock, here’s more on the Batman/Catwoman series:
“The Batman/Catwoman series shows readers the romance between Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle as it changed over their lives, but what about their connections from before they became costumed adventurers? Whether it was fate or coincidence, this story gives even more reasons why Selina and Bruce’s connection is one of the most enduring love affairs in comics.”

Batman/Catwoman Special #1 by Tom King, John Paul Leon and Dave Stewart will be available on July 20th with card stock covers by John Paul Leon, Lee Weeks (variant) and Bill Sienkiewicz (variant).
Now, who’s up for a first look at sine unlettered art pages from Lapham?
