Image Comics Sell Outs: ‘Geiger’ And ‘Nocterra’ Get Further Printings

Image Comics has further new printings to announce, with the most recent issue of Geiger getting a second printing and Nocterra #3 and #4 both getting further printings too.
Gieger #3 – by Geoff Johns, Gary Frank and Brad Anderson – gets a second printing, while Nocterra #2, by Scott Snyder and Tony S. Daniel gets a fourth printing and Nocterra #3 is on its third printing.
Look I know its all about the illusion of scarcity – after all, these are sell outs at distribution level, so there will be other reprints still out there to scoop up – but I can’t think of any other industry where this level of under-ordering wouldn’t cost someone their job. Can you?
Of course, I jest, and can only really congratulate both creative teams on their success. And Image Comics marketing team too. It’s certainly not unhealthy to get fans excited about comics, now is it?
All three reprints will be available on Wednesday July 7th from Image Comics.
