PlayStation Announces A ‘State Of Play’ For July 8

by Sage Ashford

After being MIA from E3 week last month, Sony has confirmed they will be holding a new State of Play this coming Thursday, July 8th. On the PlayStation blog, the company mentions there will be a deep-dive on Bethesda’s upcoming Deathloop game — a roughly nine-minute segment — along with other indies and third-party titles. The full show itself will run thirty minutes, but Sony notes there will be no new information on their major first-party titles like Horizon: Forbidden West and God of War: Ragnarok, or any information on the next-gen version of the PlayStation VR.

They promised additional information later in the summer, which lines up with last year having two State of Play shows in June and September focused on upcoming PlayStation titles.
