‘Forza Horizon 5’ Shows Off Eight Minutes Of Gameplay With It’s ‘Initial Drive’ Trailer
by Sage Ashford
Microsoft is getting ready to get back on the road with the latest instalment of their racing game classic, Forza Horizon 5. They also premiered a pair of cover cards in the Mercedes-AMG ONE and the 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands in a separate trailer.
Of course, this time around players are exploring the country of Mexico, where they’ll be able to go everywhere from the Gran Caldera volcano to Mexican farmlands to dense jungles for either racing or exploration. Each setting is explored in the eight minute trailer, showing the wide variety of locales that will be explorable in this game.
Forza Horizon 5 feels like an upgrade on everything developer Playground and Microsoft have done with the franchise, and it feels integrated into Microsoft’s plans for the future. For years the joke has been that Microsoft only has Forza, Gears, and Halo, but with all the other games Microsoft has been showing off, it feels more like Forza is just one game aiming to satisfy one audience rather than one of the only tentpole franchises they have.
Forza Horizon 5 releases for Xbox and PC on November 5th.
