‘Hawkeye’ Gets A Shane Black Vibe In New Teaser Video

We’re tempted to say this new trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series Hawkeye is Kate-centric, but Clint (Jeremy Renner) seems to get as much screentime as the new Hawkeye (Hailee Steinfeld). Or, perhaps, the presentation of the characters is meant to convey a vibe more akin to Shane Black movie. It is set during the holidays, after all, and it features an unlikely team-up. No matter the reality, this new slice of the series only amps up our anticipation for Kate’s debut.
Eagle-eyed viewers will also spot a first look at Kate’s mother, Eleanor (Vera Famiga), and another look at Lucky the Pizza Dog — the real star of the show. Also, anyone else notice Clint participating in a LARP? We genuinely didn’t think MCU Clint could be merged with his comic book counterpart, and yet, these trailers suggest a lot of their seemingly diverging traits are complimentary. We look forward to seeing how well it all works out when Hawkeye debuts on November 24th.
