The Live-Action ‘Mobile Suit Gundam’ Film Shows Off A First Glimpse Of Concept Art
by Sage Ashford
Netflix has been going wild with the live-action adaptations of popular anime, with Cowboy Bebop coming this November and more on the way, but they also recently released concept art for their upcoming live-action film based on Mobile Suit Gundam. The concept art (above) shows a partially destroyed Gundam in a burning building, with it’s haunting green eyes indicating that it’s still operational.
The Mobile Suit Gundam film is being directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, previously known for his work on Kong: Skull Island, with the screenplay being written by Brian K. Vaughn. Currently, there’s no release date scheduled for the film, though fans will have plenty of live-action versions of anime coming from Netflix anyway, like 2023’s Yu Yu Hakusho and the upcoming One Piece series.
