They Can Do It In A Preview Of Next Week’s ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’
by Erik Amaya
Next week’s Legends of Tomorrow finds the team back in a World War II era factory, where women began to take over the actual manufacture of airplanes. Such shifts in labor started a lot of historic changes, but will it lead to the Legends getting hold of reliable time travel? Also, will Astra (Olivia Swann) make the mission tougher with her temper?
Oh, and one more question, will Bishop (Raffi Barsoumian) end up a Legend? This week’s episode spent a lot of effort to make him less abrasive. And now that he’s landed on the time machine, it’s clear he’ll be paling around with the team for a little while. That usually leads to the villain switching sides, so maybe a change is in his future as well.
Elsewhere, we’re sort of glad Gideon (Amy Pemberton) and Gary (Adam Tsekhman) hooked up. Yeah, it’s weird and still cringy because it’s Gary, but maybe attempting a relationship with Gideon will keep him from ogling Zari 2.0 (Tala Ashe) or getting too involved in Nate’s (Nick Zano) business. Who knows? Pemberton and Tsekhman are good actors, so maybe they can make it sweet.
Also, anyone else notice how Sara (Caity Lotz) and Ava (Jes Macallan) openly questioned their circumstances? Is this the beginning of setting up their exit?
Legends of Tomorrow airs Wednesdays on The CW.
