Makoto Shinkai’s Next Film Receives First Trailer

Suzume no Tojimari is the latest film by Makoto Shinkai (Your Name, Weathering With You). The story follows Suzume, a 17 year old girl, who find a mysterious door in an abandoned house. Accompanied by a mysterious young man, Suzume is tasked with closing and locking “Doors of Disaster” before they bring havoc upon Japan. The action adventure genre is a bold new direction for Shinkai who’s last two films focused on romance.
Suzume no Tojimari will release in Japanese theaters November 11 2022
