Square-Enix Releases The Opening For ‘The Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal’ Anime

Square-Enix and Warner Bros’ adaptation of 1999 JRPG classic The Legend of Mana is only weeks away. But ahead of that, they have released a look at the opening to the series. The original game centered around a hero who was trying to fix the lands of Fa’Diel by restoring their Tree of Mana.

Animated by Yokohama Animation Laboratory and Graphinica, this anime series is seemingly part of a continued effort on Square’s part to raise the Mana brand. 2020 brought a remake of Trials of Mana, while 2021 gave fans the mobile title Echoes of Mana. There’s also a new Mana title that was announced for consoles in 2021 but hasn’t gotten an official reveal yet.

For now, Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal starts airing October 7th.
