‘Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed’ First Update Will Include New Map And Ghost Type

When we initially reviewed Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed last month, we enjoyed the asymmetric gameplay, but had a longing for more. Well, the wait for more content won’t be that long because the first update is set to arrive in the first quarter of 2023.
One of the biggest additions IllFonic will have is a new map called The Facility. Learn more about the upcoming location in the description below:
The Facility closed for good in the late 1980s and has been recently purchased by a private investor group, who have plans to renovate and reopen the facility. Unfortunately for them, it’s being plagued by ghostly activity, and construction crews refuse to enter this haunted health center.
Along with the map is a new playable Ghost type: Muncher. It is a recognizable apparition from the franchise and is the ghost with the most requests IllFonic has received. Therefore, it was a no brainer to add it to Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed. All we need now is to learn its abilities and haunting attacks.
In addition, the first update will also include more character customization options. IllFonic plans to release a new update each quarter of 2023. The best part is that they will all be free!
