Gwen Goes Bad: Greg Land’s ‘Spider-Gwen: Shadow Clones’ Covers Revealed

by Tony Thornley

Gwen Stacy has been through the wringer since she’s been reintroduced to the Marvel Universe. Coming in March’s Spider-Gwen: Shadow Clones, she’s going to face her toughest challenge yet- herself.

Peter Parker and Miles Morales have both had problems with clones. Now Gwen has her own clone saga to deal with. After facing heroic multiversal duplicates of herself, Shadow Clones puts here up against evil versions- all of them modeled on classic Spider-Man villains!

Written by Emily Kim (Silk, Tiger Division), drawn by Kei Zama (Edge of Spider-Verse, Marvel’s Voices: Identity) and featuring designs by Peach Momoko, the concept seems like a fun twist on familiar ground. To go with the five issue series, Greg Land will be providing variants for each issue homaging his popular variant cover to Edge of Spider-Verse #2, Gwen’s introduction.

Check out four of the five covers here, and stay tuned for more information on the series, including Momoko’s design sheets, very soon!
