Supergiant Returns To The World Of ‘Hades’ With ‘Hades II’

After over a decade in the game, Supergiant Games has announced their first sequel with Hades II. A challenging rogue-like dungeon crawler, the first Hades was a smash hit and one of the most critically-acclaimed games of 2020. Scoring a 93 on Metacritic and selling 300,000 copies within the first three days of its release, it’s not surprising the developer chose to create a sequel to the title.

With the sequel, players will take on the role of Melinoe, the sister of Hades’ protagonist Zagreus, on her quest to defeat Chronos, the Titan of Time. Similar to the first game, Supergiant plans to put the title in Early Access before releasing the game, with more news coming in 2023.
