Preview: ‘Rick and Morty: Time Zoo’ #1

Out right now – it’s time for Ricky and Morty to head to the zoo – the TIME Zoo!

Here’s a question for you, when is a preview not really a preview? That would be when you’re previewing it after it comes out. Bad me, bad me. But then again, Rick & Morty Presents: Time Zoo #1 did only come out on 1st March and in fairness to me Oni did only send out the previews the same day… so it’s not all my fault. Honest!

Anyway, it’s a brand-new Rick & Morty one-off where nothing, absolutely nothing is changing in the world – there’s no new movies, no new movie stars, no new video games, no new music genres.

If that was us and here in our Earth, we’d just figure what the hell, that’s either us getting old and not understanding or put it down to the Fast & The Furious-isation of the media. Right?

[Because, no, we do not need another bloody film about family whilst spending all the time throwing cars out of increasingly ridiculous objects, thanks very much]

But if we happened to be living in the same world as Rick and Morty – well, there might be something more to it.

And in this case, there most definitely is. So when Rick starts to suspect things are off with the world… it all ends up with them all realising that they’re trapped in a Time Zoo. And, bizarrely enough, it’s up to Summer to save the day, save the family, and get them all out of the Time Zoo. Yep, Summer. Who’d have thought, eh?
