Level-5 Shows Off Gameplay Of New RPG ‘Decapolice’

Level-5 has revealed a new teaser trailer for their new turn-based RPG, Decapolice, during their recent LEVEL-5 Vision 2023 event. The teaser trailer introduces the cast, a team of detectives working within the city of Broadstone, a massive metropolis struggling with crime.
With each character having a name based on an Ivy League school, it’s clear Level-5 is having fun with the concept of “elite detectives”. Much of the game will take place within the world of DECASIM, a virtual world that’s a complete copy of the city of Broadstone, where players will be able to discover clues in the hopes of solving real-world cases.
Alongside the teaser trailer, Level-5 also revealed a gameplay introduction trailer, a four minute trailer showing how Decapolice plays, and how its different from their popular Professor Layton series.
Level-5’s Decapolice launches worldwide for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 in 2023.
