‘Marvel Contest Of Champions’ Celebrates Pride Month And ‘X-Men ’97’

After making waves in May, Marvel Contest of Champions has a bunch of fun and entertaining additions with this month’s update. Players can expect all new Champions and game mode, Pride Month content, X-Men ‘97 Season 2 celebration, bundles, events, and more.
On the character side, cosmic defender Phyla-Vell and mutant time-traveller Shatterstar are the latest entrants to the Contest. The former becomes available beginning June 11 while the latter can be collected starting June 28. Both Phyla-Vell and Shatterstar feature in the “Stars and Martyrs” Event Quest, which runs from June 3 to July 8. In addition, Thor (Ragnarok) will receive a new update.
Marvel Contest of Champions will also launch the all-new Towers event. It will be a permanent game mode that challenges Champions’ growth where defenders can only defeated at their strongest. Use unique Champions to rise up the Floors and Blocks of each Tower. The game mode becomes available on June 17. The first event is the Alliance War Showcase — Tower. It features both Dinosaur and Meteor Tactics, Defender Mastery loadouts, and a special Block for Saga attackers.
With a new season of X-Men ’97 on the horizon, the game has a new X-Men Legacy New Player Bundle. New players can obtain 20 X-Men related Champions including Rogue, Gambit, Magneto, Sunspot, Cyclops (Blue Team), Jean Grey, Madelyne Prior, Pixie, Beast, Jubilee, Storm, Nightcrawler, Bishop, Bastion, Wolverine, Mojo, Emma Frost, Sentinel, Apocalypse, and Mister Sinister. Day 12 – Potions & Revives

Day 14 – 4-Star Awakening Gem
There are also two events for this month. The first is the Pride Month event “Sparkle and Shade.” It runs until June 30 where players can earn exclusive Profile Pictures, Titles, and rewards as we show all the colors of Pride. The other event is “The Champions Workout Routine” event. It runs from June 10-24 where players fight in special arenas to earn Relic based rewards, ISO, Gold, Exclusive Titles and Profile Pics.
