by Anton Kromoff
Welcome to the table,
I love a new villain and when magic is involved you have my attention!

Marvel has a new archenemy entering Wanda Maximoff’s life in August’s issue of Scarlet Witch. The current ongoing series from writer Steve Orlando and artist Sara Pichelli has been well received by readers as Wanda uses her chaos magics to help those in need. But now, a powerful alchemist from a long line of witch hunters with a rad-ass name, Nicola Zosimos, also known as Hexfinder, is on a mission to put an end to Wanda’s magic for good.
In Scarlet Witch #7, featuring artwork by Lorenzo Tammetta, Wanda will find herself facing off against a villain who is every bit her match. But that’s not all. On top of clashing with someone who sounds like they have a new Pathfinder character class, Wanda will also face a difficult decision when a villain named Nelson Gruber, aka Bookworm, comes to her seeking aid to kill wicked witches in a transformed corner of Oklahoma that’s been turned into the Emerald City.

This plot is unhinged and I am honestly here it.
Fans can catch a glimpse of Hexfinder on various covers, including artist Russell Dauterman‘s main cover, Meghan Hetrick‘s variant cover, and Sara Pichelli‘s original design sheet, which will serve as a variant cover.
Be sure you add Scarlet Witch to your pull list and don’t miss out when it hits stands on August 2nd.
Until next time, I really am excited about this Marvel book. I think this new villain could be super cool.
