The Upcoming ‘Dragonbane’ TTRPG Gets Translated Into Even More Languages!

Anyone who frequents the game content on this site, you are probably more than aware that I am so excited about Dragonbane.

Apparently, I am not the only one, as Free League‘s new fantasy tabletop TTRPG title is picking up interest all over the world! With the official release still slated for this fall, Free League today announced no fewer than six new translations of the new edition of this classic Swedish roleplaying game.

Adding to the already announced English edition under the title Dragonbane, the new edition of Sweden’s first and biggest tabletop TTRPG Drakar och Demoner will now be translated into German (Uhrwerk Verlag), French (Arkhane Asylum), Italian (Need Games), Spanish (Devir Games), Norwegian (Aegir Games), and Danish (Faraos Cigarer).

Dragonbane is easily one of the most anticipated TTRPGs of 2023 and is already available to pre-order via the official website with immediate access to the complete PDF package, ahead of the boxed edition release this fall. The game is also available at DrivethruRPG.

I think a lot of tabletop gamers are going to really like Dragonbane, as it is designed from the ground up to facilitate fast and fun gameplay, with very little prep time so that you can jump right into the adventures. One of the best blends of humor and high adventure Dragonbane seems to be shaping up to be the best of all worlds.
