I’m A Virgo is Boots Riley’s follow up to his surreal satire Sorry To Bother You. Boots Riley made it on my list of Upcoming Visionary Directors for good reason. Sorry To Bother You was a film that defied traditional categorization and had a unique voice. I’m A Virgo appears to occupy the same magical realistic afro-punk alternate reality. Perhaps the TV format will allow Riley’s vision to connect with more viewers.
