Fax Expo Dallas invades the Kay Baily Hutchinson Convention Center this weekend – and Comicon will be there to bring you the play-by-play.![]()
The show will be packed with guests from multiple nerdy franchises, from Star Wars to Stranger Things to Clerks.
Headlining the event is Darth Vade himself, Hayden Christensen. The dark lord of the Sith will autograph fans’ lightsabers, pose for photos and entertain during a special show where he will take audience questions. Rosario Dawson, the live-action Ashoka Tano, will also be at the show as well as several Star Wars voice actors.
Joseph Quinn and Grace Van Dien, otherwise known as Stranger Things’ rocker Eddie Munson and cheerleader Chrissy Cunningham, are sure to be big draws. Similarly, Kevin Smith is bringing most of the Clerks’ crew with him, including Jason Mewes, Jeff Anderson and Trevor Fehrman.
On the comics side, Stanley “Artgerm” Lau will be on hand, along with Marc Silvestri, James Tynion IV, Donny Cates, Jae Lee, and many others.
Fresh off of his hit animated film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Shameik Moore will be on hand, as well as voice actors from My Hero Academia, Mario Universe and Dora the Explorer.
In addition to hours of panels, podcasts and performances, most fans will find their way to the exhibit hall floor where they can purchase a new Marvel or CD T-shirt, some 3D-printed creation or that key comic issue they’ve been searching for. And, of course, artist alley will be full of aspiring illustrators trying to interest attendees in their newest comic, print or even a commission.
Younger con-goers can face off against each other in lightsaber battles, try their hands at drawing their own comics and play Minecraft in the real world.
Fan Expo Dallas runs from Friday to Sunday,
