Adi Shankar Returns With ‘Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix’

Captain Laserhawk is a mixed media series animated by studio Bobbypills and created by Adi Shankar (The Guardians of Justice). The series takes place in an alternate universe filled with remixed versions of characters from Ubisoft Games. The show follows Dolph Laserhawk, a cybernetic super-soldier, who rebels against the army to pull off a final big heist and live a free life with his boyfriend.
Shankar served as Executive Producer on Netflix’s acclaimed Castlevania series and has been a longtime advocate for animation as an expressive medium for adults and the creative power of video games. With The Guardians of Justice, Shankar proved that he could combine kaleidoscopic visuals with layered social satire. Ubisoft just gave an insane artist the keys to their sportscar IP, and now the viewers are going to be taken for a joyride.
