‘Sheena: Queen Of The Jungle’ Returns For A “Fatal” Exam

Sheena: Queen of the Jungle is back for one of her most perilous adventures: a boarding school education back in civilization.

The tale, “~~Final~~ Fatal Exams” comes courtesy of writers Steven E. De Souza and Wes Clark Jr. with Ediano Silva on art. In it, “Cardwell Inc. is betting that some formal education will teach their long-lost and ‘raised by wolves’ scion the niceties and social mores of the civilized world.” Taking on the “vicious dynamics of her hyper-competitive classmates,” Sheena must also weed out the real reason for her new scholastic endeavor. Is Cardwell just removing her from the Val Verde rainforest so they can exploit its resources?

“Believe it or not, this finishing school idea has been in the planning stages for several years now,” De Souza said in a statement. “It’s a logical stage in Sheena’s life: Having returned to civilization after spending her formative years in the jungle, her wealthy family thinks she needs some polishing.”

Clark added, “The jungle remains a location of mystery and danger to the human imagination … Add a heroine capable of handling man and beast, and you’ve got a story people will keep coming back to. It’s primal.”
