It’s Wedding Bells For ‘Invincible Iron Man’ And Emma Frost In New Marvel Trailer

Think of it as a white (queen) wedding.
Get the rice ready because Marvel Comics has released a trailer to get fans excited about the upcoming nuptials between Tony Stark and the X-Men’s Emma Frost.
The proposal comes in X-Men #26, due out September 6, 2023, and is followed up three weeks later with the wedding of the decade in Invincible Iron Man #10. While the ceremony is rife with secrets and subterfuge, the trailer gives fans their first inside look at the ceremony, including some never-before-seen artwork.
Gerry Duggan, who has written a number of key Fall of X books, has also scripted the proposal and wedding issues. Jim Towe and Javier Pina illustrate X-Men and Juan Frigeri is the artist on Invincible Iron Man. Lucas Werneck drew the connecting covers.
With the recent happenings as part of Fall of X and the Hellfire Gala, Marvel may be taking this “’til death do they part” thing a bit too seriously.
“Emma and Tony — I think now people are starting to get a sense of how they work,” Duggan said. “I hope you all check it out. They are getting married. I promise no shenanigans. Beyond that, I don’t know what you’re going to get.”
