‘Dustborn’ Reappears With An Early 2024 Release Date

It feels like it’s been forever since this game was last shown off, but developer Read Thread Games and Quantic Dream’s Dustborn has finally been unearthed. The game focuses on an ex-con named Pax who has the ability to weaponize the words they speak. Pax and friends take a trip across the American Southwest, making stops in different areas to add more people to the crew and sometimes lay the smackdown on the authoritarian group controlling America, known as Justice.

This looks just as cool as it did the first time it appeared years ago, reminiscent of a graphic novel turned directly into a video game. Mixing combat with narrative-driven stories like this is never easy, but if Dustborn can pull it off it’ll be one of the strongest games of next year.

Dustborn releases early 2024 for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, the Epic Games Store, and Steam.
