Dredd Rules O.K. — Covers To The Big ‘2000 AD And ‘Battle Action’ Crossover That Never Was Revealed
by Richard Bruton
As has been their way recently, we have a big late summer crossover coming in 2000 AD and The Judge Dredd Megazine as 2000 AD & the Brit classic Battle Action merge! (But just for a couple of issues!)

On 20th September, Both 2000 AD Prog #2350 and Judge Dredd Megazine #460 ask the big question – what would 2000 AD have been like if it had merged with stablemate Battle Action in the 1980s?
So, two great comics in a standalone event to remember as classic 2000 AD characters meet up with some epic characters from the vibrant past of 1970s Brit comics from the groundbreaking Battle Picture Weekly and the controversial Action.
So you’ll find Judge Dredd meeting Kids Rule O.K.! in ‘Juves Rule‘, El Mestizo meets Major Eazy in ‘The Treasure of Solomon‘, there’s Death Game 2049, Hellman of Hell Force, and more!
As part of this, 2000 AD is having a bit of a push on the subscriber front – with a subscriber-exclusive cover to Prog 2350 by Andy Clarke that pays homage to the legendary Carlos Ezquerra’s notorious Kids Rule O.K.! cover for Action from 1976 – but now with the Judges in charge!

The standard retail cover is rather tasty as well… featuring the ever-magnificent lines of Cliff Robinson and colours of Dylan Teague.

The crossover action heads over to Judge Dredd Megazine #460 too, also out on 20 September and featuring a wraparound cover by Judge Dredd artist Henry Flint.
And of course, I’ll be covering it all here on Comicon at The Weekly 2000 AD and The Monthly Megazine!
