DSTLRY Unveils Peach Momoko Cover For ‘Gone’ #1

by Tom Smithyman

Bolstering its list of top-tier creators, new publisher DSTLRY has added a variant cover for Gone #1 from superstar artist Peach Momoko.

Eisner Award winner Momoko’s cover features Abi, Gone’s 13-year-old protagonist. The girl and her friends stow away on a massive luxury space-liner, hoping to escape the menial existence on their home world. But Abi suddenly finds herself branded as a saboteur and struggles to evade the ship’s deadly crew to stay alive.

Gone is a sci-fi adventure featuring oversized pages that are written, drawn and colored by another Eisner Award winner, Jock. The series spins out of Jock’s “The Stowaway,” which was featured in DSTLRY’s sold-out premiere title The Devil’s Cut.

Momoko’s open-order variant joins two main wraparound covers from Jock, as well as ratio variants from Joelle Jones, Junko Mizuno and Emma Price.

Gone #1 will be available to purchase on October 25, 2023.
