2000 AD Prog #2351: All New Line-Up And The Return Of Sam Slade And Garth Ennis – It’s Robo-Hunting Good!

They’ve been teasing it all over the socials but now images have sneaked out – Sam Slade, Robo-Hunter, a classic 2000 AD character, comes back to mess with Dredd in 2000 AD Prog 2351!
Yep, you’ve seen the social teaser images, you’ve been guessing which old character was coming back to butt head with Dredd – and now we know, it’s Brit-Cit’s Robo-Hunter, Sam Slade!
But Sam’s a long way from Brit-Cit, which is where he usually spends time as a P.I. hired to find and sometimes destroy missing meks and rogue robos. In this new tale, Judge Dredd Vs Robo-Hunter, writer Garth Ennis and artist Henry Flint bring Sam to Dredd’s turf… sparks will fly!
It’s all part of the jumping-on Prog, alongside a lineup of four all-new series…
Apart from Judge Dredd Vs Robo-Hunter, there’s a very big new Judge Dredd by Rob Williams and PJ Holden. In ‘Poison‘, we’re with Dredd on the trail of whoever infected and eventually killed Hershey, as seen in the climax to Hershey in Prog 2349.
And then we get two returning series as well…
First, Dan Abnett and Richard Elson come back to the adventures of Feral and Foe in ‘Bad Godesberg’, with the necromancer Bode and warrior Wrath, back in the bounty-hunting business.
Finally, there’s the long overdue second series of Helium by Ian Edginton and D’Israeli. And by long overdue, we’re talking 2015 when the first part of this great series ran. It takes place 300 years since the great war ended on an Earth where 85% of the surface is now under a gaseous ocean of biological weapons smog known as the Poison Belt. The remains of humanity live in the High Lands, above the lethal fog and travel across the skies in all manner of ships. But there are rumours of life beneath the Belt and one Professor has appeared to claim that the world could be habitable once more.
