Marvel Celebrates February’s Black History Month By Highlighting Misty Knight And Patriot

It may only be October, but Marvel is deep into planning for February’s Black History Month, with its Marvel’s Voices: Legends #1.
The special one-shot will feature four new stories featuring such heroes as Misty Knight, who will be celebrating her 50th anniversary, as well as Elijah Bradley, aka Patriot.
Writer Justina Ireland kicks off Misty Knight’s milestone year with an action-packed Daughters of the Dragon adventure. Misty and Colleen Wing will be taking down crime in style.
Writer David F. Walker and artist Eder Messias bring Patriot back to the spotlight with a tale of corruption and abuse. Bradley must confront Crossbones while exploring his own family’s legacy and reminding himself of his heroic destiny.
TV’s Doom Patrol writer Ezra Claytan Daniels makes his Marvel debut alongside artist Sean Damien Hill in a Deathlok story. After an epic battle, Deathlok lies broken beyond repair. To continue the fight, he’ll be forced to make a game-changing decision.
Marvel also revealed Caanan White’s cover for Marvel’s Voices: Legends #1, which will be available January 31, 2024. The publisher also teased that it will soon unveil its variant covers for other titles during Black History Month.
