Magik Draws Her Soulsword For Krakoa In Artgerm’s ‘Fall Of The House Of X’ Cover

New series launches at Marvel Comics usually means new variant covers. There’s few bigger in the coming year than the upcoming final chapter of the X-Men’s Krakoan era, and Marvel is pulling out the stops with some of the biggest covers artists in comics today.

Stanley “Artgerm” Lau is known for his depictions of some of the greatest heroines in comics. No one fits that description better than Illyana Rasputin- the mutant witch known as Magik. Artgerm has brought Magik to life in a stunning cover for Fall of the House of X, half of the duo of miniseries that will show Krakoa’s final chapter.

Illyana’s journey through the Krakoan era has been one of the line’s biggest triumphs. She’s been one of the Captains of Krakoa. She’s come to terms and to peace with her violent upbringing in Limbo. She’s served with the New Mutants and the X-Men. Her journey has truly put her at the front of the X-Men’s A-list.
