Sirius Dice Partners With Wizards Of The Coast To Launch Acereak’s Treasure Packs

Vecna is a vile power-hungry lich, Tiamat is the dragon goddess queen of evil dragons, Warduke is the coolest “evil fighter” who has ever worn a blue helmet with dragon wings (I won’t be taking questions, he’s the best), and Acereak is… well… he’s kind of a jerk.
Acererak is driven to obtain immortality by becoming a lich and in order to do so he travels the multiverse collecting treasures and creating vast dungeons full of traps and monsters to watch adventures who are looking for treasure get utterly destroyed by them. That’s his motivation.
It’s not that he has some kind of axe to grind, or some sort of lofty moral or immoral issue, the guy just wants to see adventurers get messed up by his traps and tricks because it amuses him. His motivation is “How can I be a dick to adventurers today.”
This fact amuses me so much and when the dice makers over at Sirius Dice announced they were partnering with Wizards of the Coast to produce officially licensed blind bag dice bundles called Acereak’s Treasures, my phone started blowing up.
I learned about these packs while I was at NYCC from more than a few friends who started texting me pictures of them and telling me I needed to learn more.
It’s telling when the absolute jerk of an undead lunatic has his name on a dice bag your friends independent of each other reach out to you from all levels of the gaming industry to tell you as soon as they find out.
So as the team over at Sirius Dice rollout the first officially licensed random dice packs for Dungeons & Dragons, everyone is starting to check their LGS to see if they have them in stock yet.
Each of these Acereak’s Treasure Packs comes with a random set of dice from Sirius’s extensive dice collection. Along with the dice, there is 1 metal activity coin and a D&D logo dice bag all contained within a foil pouch to keep the surprise of the contents secret until you open it.
There are over 60 possible dice sets available, 18 different coins, and 5 different color dice bags. Dice set odds are: Common – 1:2.22, Uncommon – 1:2, Rare – 1:25, and Legendary – 1:100. Each Treasure Pack will be hand-selected by the Sirius Dice eCom fulfillment team so there is that added touch of care there.
