Skybound Reveals A First Look At A Very Moody ‘G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero’ #302

It’s been quite the week for Skybound and partners Hasbro. G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero #301 released and sold out an now a first look at the next issue, G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero #302 by legendary series writer Larry Hama (Marvel’s Wolverine), artist Chris Mooneyham (DC’s Nightwing, Sgt. Rock and the Unknown Soldier) and colourist Francesco Segala (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) with main covers by Andy Kubert (Marvel’s X-Men). And it’s quite the moody preview with the funeral for a friend dripping in pathetic fallacy.

As the Joes mourn their fallen brother, dangerous new forces are mounting against them. Cobra Commander returns to Springfield and the now mutant Serpentor Khan turns to a deadly new ally you won’t see coming!

As well as the main cover by Kubert and colourist Brad Anderson, issue #302 will also feature an open-to-order variant cover with a black and white version of Kubert’s cover, and a 1:10 incentive cover series by Brad Walker (Detective Comics) and colourist Francesco Segala.
