Pokémon Shows Us One More Time Why They Are “The Very Best”

Pokémon is out here thanking me for the journey, when they have been there for me all along the way. Ash and Pikachu’s adventures may be over, or at least not the focus now as a new crop of trainers rises to take on the challenge of being “the very best,” but the memories and friends we made along the way will still be with me for a lifetime. I have a drawer full of consoles and games that I look at on the regular, fully knowing that when I finally can rest, and relax, I will be in the tall grass catching them all once more.
This is such a beautiful send-off, the fact the comments are turned off so trolls can’t get in there and ruin this moment makes me even happier. I’m grateful for this and can’t wait to see what comes next.
Until next time, “Every challenge along the way, with courage, I will face. I will battle every day, to claim my rightful place.” The weight those verses hold over me to this day is religious.
