First Look At ‘Grand Theft Auto VI’ Revealed, Releases In 2025

by Sage Ashford

After a decade without a new installment, Rockstar has finally premiered a first look at the next Grand Theft Auto VI. Though the first look was meant to be on December 5th, a late-afternoon leak the day before forced them to put it out early.

Still, the trailer looks absolutely stunning, holding a kind of fidelity for an open-world game that should be impossible…unless you’ve got Rockstar’s several hundred million dollar budget. For now, not much is known other than fans are headed back to Vice City, with Rockstar claiming they’re elevating the open world to the next level once again. They’ll also be doing it with a new protagonist, as Lucia takes the stage alongside her partner Jason.

For now, the release date is set for 2025. As is the norm with Rockstar, currently the only platforms confirmed are PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. PC will likely come after the console versions have launched, giving them time to polish the PC experience further.

Still, how does it look? Worth the decade-plus wait?
