Archetype Entertainment Introduces New Sci-Fi Game ‘Exodus’

Archetype Entertainment has announced Exodus, a new sci-fi action-adventure RPG. A new studio formed by key staff members from major studios like Naughty Dog, 343 Industries, and BioWare, Archetype Entertainment is working with Wizards of the Coast to bring the latest project from Mass Effect veterans James Ohlen and Drew Karpyshyn.
Within the world of Exodus, humanity has abandoned Earth for the stars. After being confronted by alien races though, they’re forced to fight for their own survival. Their only chance though comes from stealing weapons from aliens to fight back. As The Traveler, the player fights against the alien Celestials, traveling at faster than light speeds across the galaxy. Exodus means to involve Time Dilation into their storytelling, as days or weeks can mean years or decades back at home, with the world changing as the Traveler continues their war.
Though there’s no release date for Exodus, the website has a lot of information available about the game’s setting.
Exodus will release on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series.
