Peter David Returns To 2099 In March’s ‘Symbiote Spider-Man 2099’

In August 1992, Peter David and Rick Leonardi debuted Spider-Man 2099. In March, David returns to his flagship Marvel creation in Symbiote Spider-Man 2099.
Pairing with artist Roge Antonio, David returns with Miguel O’Hara to tell the terrifying story of a new future symbiote.
When Tyler Stone, the Venom of 2099, sweeps through Alchemax on a terrifying and deadly mission, only Miguel can stop him. But the only hope Miguel has to face Venom lies in a horrifying secret experiment buried deep in Alchemax’s archives. This strange symbiote is the only chance he has, but will it cost Miguel O’Hara his very soul?
This will be David’s second time returning to Spider-Man 2099. In my opinion, that series was David’s last great work, so I’ll be really interested to see what he does here. The concept sounds torn straight from the original run of Spidey 2099, so it’s got that going for it already. We’ll see how close to the original 2099 stories it hews from there.
