Trapper Keepers, Heavy Metal, And An Unleashed Ancient Evil – Syzygy Publishing Announces ‘The Cabinet’

Image Comics imprint Syzygy Publishing has announced a new YA/Teen+ tale, The Cabinet. Co-created and written by Jordan Hart and David Ebeltoft, the five-issue series heralds the arrival of Italian artist Chiara Raimondi and boasts interconnecting variant covers by Marguerite Sauvage.

Atypical teen Avani teams up with very typical midwestern jock Trent to teleport across a post-Cold War landscape, collecting curious relics. They need the artifacts to summon the arcane powers to summon the powers of a lustrous 17-century cabinet in an attempt to correct Avani’s itty-bitty mistake from the last time she used the thing. You know, that time she unleashed an ancient evil from its prison and slaughtered her parents. 

The Cabinet hits spinner racks on February 14, 2024.
