Nothing Stops Mondo’s New Soft Vinyl Juggernaut — Now Available For Pre-Order

When I was a kid, I spent a ton of time in the hospital due to my disability. Words like mutation were tossed around a lot in regards to my genetics. When you are a small child you struggle to grapple with these big concepts.
I understood the word mutation because I knew who the X-Men were, but past that, the world of degeneration and breakdown were lost on me. What I did understand was that Professor X used a wheelchair, so the school for gifted mutants was clearly wheelchair accessible. This meant, to a child under the age of ten, that the only reason the X-Men had never showed up to whisk me and my overactive imagination away was because the X-Men must hate me or that I was not going to be alive long enough to be of any value to them.
Thus was born my childhood dislike for the X-Men and my love for their villains. One of my favorites has, is, and will always be Cain Marko, otherwise known as The Juggernaut.
The fine folks over at Mondo have brought to market another fantastic collectible. When it comes from them, I have learned to expect nothing less than the best. Mondo’s already one of the places I go to check on new records, MOTU collectibles, Tiki mugs, and Godzilla figures so when it came across my desk a few days ago that they were dropping one of the coolest Juggernaut soft vinyl statues I had ever seen, I was ecstatic!
Just look at this stellar rendition of the unstoppable Juggernaut. The massive boy stands 12″ tall and 15″ wide. It’s crafted of soft vinyl with multiple points of articulation, courtesy of the design and sculpting of Tommy Hodges. Hodges also sculpted a favorite of mine, the Masters of the Universe: Skeletor Deluxe 1/6 Scale Figure as well as the Vex and Vax statues I talked about in April of last year. Mondo hires the best, and it shows in the figures they produce.

So if you are trying to score this amazing collectible for your shelf you are going to need to act quickly, and probably get a bigger shelf because this bad boy is large!
I honestly can’t think of a cooler centerpiece for a modern X-Men collection, especially for those looking for something fun and unique. I know I for one would make way for him in any room of my house as this absolute-destructive unit is a vibe in the best possible way.
