Crunchyroll Game Vault Adds ‘Ponpu’ And ‘Yuppie Psycho’; Announces Developer Portal

by Gary Catig

Crunchyroll might be a top destination to view anime series, but it’s also becoming a place to play top notch mobile games. The Crunchyroll Game Vault is adding two exciting titles. In addition, it will provide new opportunities for developers and publishers to engage directly with the people responsible for curating the games library.

The two latest additions to the Crunchyroll Game Vault are Yuppie Psycho and Ponpu. The former is a survival horror game while the latter is super-slick 2D action puzzler. Both are now available on the service for Crunchyroll Mega and Ultimate Fan members. They join current favorites River City Girls, Behind the Frame, and inbento and the soon to be One Punch Man: World which launches on January 31.

Crunchyroll is providing opportunities not just for gamers but also video game designers. With their new Developer Portal, it has never been easier for creators across the globe to interact with the team building the curated lineup of games geared towards anime fans. Through the portal, you can submit in-progress projects, launched games, and more for consideration for the Crunchyroll Game Vault. A nice chance for any independent publisher looking to expand its reach.

Terry Li, Executive Vice President of Emerging Business and General Manager of Crunchyroll Games at Crunchyroll, said about both announcements:

“Crunchyroll Game Vault’s latest titles, coupled with the upcoming One Punch Man: World launch on January 31, mark the beginning of a tremendous year for gaming at Crunchyroll. Throughout 2024, we will work with developers to bring more games to mobile for the first time and bring new features to existing hits. Our Developer Portal is another step in our commitment to working with developers eager to bring games to Crunchyroll’s fans.”
