‘Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’ Introduces “Elseworlds”
by Sage Ashford
Rocksteady has released another Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Insider video, this time focused on the game’s post-launch plans. Entitled “Introducing Elseworlds”, the first half of this video gives players a look at how the game will incorporate competition into this co-op game, with things like leaderboards and competition on each mission serving as a major factor.
The second half of the video introduces the “Elseworlds” content, where the Squad travels to different Earths created by Brainiac’s influence. This content will allow players to continue playing more story, and introduce new villains, with the first villain an Elseworlds version of the Joker, coming in March. Each season of content will include two “episodes” of story, and a new villain added to the roster.
While this game still doesn’t make any more sense over something like a Justice League game, what it does seem to be is far better put together than the Avengers game. With each new story free of charge rather than locked to a battle pass, fans will have plenty of reason to come back to this game time and again.
Suicide Squad: KTJL launches February 2nd for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
