‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Could Resurrect Interest In Superheroes

There was a time when Marvel was king and any new Marvel Cinematic Universe film would cause people to rush to the theaters. Now, after several years of mediocre material, audiences and critics are experiencing superhero fatigue. That’s why it’s such a breath of fresh air to see Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) doing what he does best — making fun of everything. Deadpool will finally be entering the MCU to save the franchise from itself. It’s going to take a lot of humor and creativity to get people interested again; that and a little help from Wolverine (Hugh Jackman).

Deadpool & Wolverine will hit theaters July 26th.
