Fandom Reaches A New Level In BOOM! Studios ‘I Heart Skull-Crusher’ #1 First Look

Even in a post-apocalyptic world, sports have the power to inspire and drive people to do anything to find success. Opportunity presents itself for one young athlete within the first look of BOOM! Studios new YA sports series I Heart Skull-Crusher.

This athletic new series comes from Josie Campbell (Amazons Attack, My Adventures With Superman), Alessio Zonno (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Angel De Santiago, and Jim Campbell.

Screaming Pain Ball is the name of the sport, and 18-year-old Trini is willing to do anything to compete in the sport so she can be like her longtime hero Skull-Crusher. Joining the league is not a solo adventure, as Trini gathers a group of misfits to travel the American Waste to battle in the deadly tournament of Queen Mob. Their final goal? Earn a spot on Skull-Crusher’s undefeated team.
