The Vampires Come For The Mutants In ‘X-Men: Blood Hunt’
by Tony Thornley
More than pretty much any other heroes in the Marvel Universe, the X-Men and vampires have history. In four one-shots through the months of June and July, the rivalry begins anew in the middle of the Blood Hunt event.

Jubilee was once a vampire. Psylocke has history with the undead. Magik is a master of the supernatural. And Wolverine is the best there is at what she does, and when it comes to vamps, that means a lot of stabbing. While the Krakoan era seems to be coming to an end in May, June and July will see these four X-Men dealing damage to the vampire onslaught.
These four one-shots will not just see these A-list X-Men battling vampires. Each story will also explore their status quo in the wake of the Fall of the House of X. And considering they’re X-Men, they’re sure to be chock full of action and drama.
Jubilee’s issue will feature fireworks and more as she deals with her vampire past from Preeti Chhibber & Enid Balam. Magik finds the mutant sorceress defending her Russia homeland from bloodsuckers from Ashley Allen & Jesus Hervas. Psylocke thought she could get some time off with her lover Greycrow, but immediately finds herself acing a new kind of bloodsucker from Steve Foxe & Lynne Yoshii. And Wolverine goes on a bloody rescue mission to save mutants from the vampire nation’s cruel experiments from Stephanie Phillips & Robert Gill.
The war between mutants and vampires always seems to come roaring back every few years. These four one-shots definitely promise to show how brutal it can get.
Watch for more news about Blood Hunt soon and keep an eye on these four one-shots coming this summer.
