Boy Kills World is a film that premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last year. The action thriller about a deaf boy who trains his life to get revenge on the people who killed his family is set to hit theaters on April 26, 2024. Also releasing around the same time is a video game tie-in.
Super Dragon Punch Force II is featured in the film, starring Bill Skarsgård, and produced by Sam Raimi. The fictional game is a 2D brawler in the vein of Street Fighter, and it has a special place in the protagonist’s heart. Pretty soon, we will have the chance to play its sequel when Super Dragon Punch Force 3 arrives on mobile and PC in the second quarter of 2024.
Don’t let the game’s title fool you because it is actually the first real playable game in the series despite the “3” moniker. It is developed by Talent Digital Art, a new gaming studio based in South Africa.
Super Dragon Punch Force 3 is made to appeal to both newcomers and experienced veterans of similar fighting games. It has a very distinct aesthetic that draws heavily upon modern comics and manga and even pulls on those nostalgic strings taking place in your typical old school arcade cabinet.
