SXSW 2024: Paramount+’s The Lodge Activation Has A Mountain Of Entertainment

One of the biggest events of the year, South by Southwest (SXSW), will be held next week. It promises tons of programming involving music, film, television, and more. Another thing attendees can expect are activations revolving around popular brands. We already shared the news of Prime Video’s Fallout activation. They won’t be the only company to do so. Paramount+ is also hosting one of their own.
The Paramount+’s The Lodge is making a stop in Austin this year at The Clive Bar (609 Davis St, Austin, TX 78701). They are bringing many of their properties, providing an entertaining cabin-like vibe.
On the first floor, enter the South Side of Chicago for a The Chi photo op on a stoop while you enjoy a sweet treat. There is also a pink room associated with the recent musical Mean Girls that offers a themed cocktail called “The Plastics,” which you can enjoy while reading through the notorious Burn Book. Then, come face to face with the mysterious Covenant artifact from Halo as well as view costumes and props from the television series. Don’t forget to pickup exclusive Halo-branded mirror sunglasses.
Go up the stairs and into the Ink Master chair to receive a temporary airbrush tattoo. Also on the second floor is the iconic bridge of the USS Discovery. You will feel like you are part of the crew of Star Trek: Discovery as you pose for a picture.
For you Western fans, go to the Lawmen: Bass Reeves space overlooking Rainey Street to determine if you want to be on the Wanted list or be on the right side of the law and collect a U.S. Deputy Marshal badge. In addition, you can capture a photo in front of the Paramount Mountain and head into The Lodge Confessional, an interactive booth to discuss your thoughts, strategies, and experiences like on Survivor.
Finally, hit up The Paramount+ Pub to celebrate CBS Sports. Play various bar games, such as the hook and ring toss, and a UEFA Champions League themed soccer ball challenge. A nice last stop to drink sports-inspired cocktails and check out locker displays with fan favorite jerseys, balls, and team paraphernalia.
