Welcome to the table,
One of my favorite artists in all of tabletop role-playing is Timothy Truman. His work has had such a profound effect on me that my first tattoo, and the start of my Warduke sleeve, is his drawing of the character.
Zarak the half-orc assassin was another one of his absolutely epic art pieces that had a hold over my young imagination.
Truman’s art, coupled with Zarak’s throwing dagger that magically returns, his potion of invisibility, and the less-than-15 words of text sent me on a slew of wild adventures at the table. I was crafting guilds of assassins, crafters of returning weapons, and lichs who would employ such nefarious entities such as Zarak.
The team over at WizKids and NECA have produced yet another phenomenal figure, this time in the form of the vile and villainous Zarak.
Like the other amazing Dungeons & Dragons figures that they have produced, Zarak comes in one of those super fun windowbox boxes that protects the figure but also lets you pull it out of the little plastic holder bits so you can display it and keep the box intact.
Zarak comes with over 20 points of articulation, multiple hands, a grappling hook with rope, two small daggers, a larger shortsword, a swap-out head without his iconic assassin hood, and a crimson potion of invisibility (Do not eat this. It will not make you invisible).

Until next time, this little guy is so cool to me. So often, half-orcs are these big and burley entities, and Zarak is short and stocky but somehow just as imposing. I always thought that was really cool.
