The Post-Krakoa X-Men Stand Revealed
by Tony Thornley
This summer, Krakoa falls, but the X-Men will rise again.

Announced yesterday at South By Southwest’s Future of Marvel Comics’ X-Men & Digital Comics panel, we finally know at least some hints of the future of the X-Men, even if we don’t quite know the whole picture. Starting in July, three new titles will debut, with six more to come.
Debuting this summer, Marvel Comics sees the beginnings of the new X-Men line with the launch of X-Men, Uncanny X-Men and Exceptional X-Men. In July, Jed MacKay and Ryan Stegman kick off this new era with X-Men, featuring Cyclops leading a team and raising the flag of defiance. In August, Gail Simone and David Marquez will lead Rogue and her outlaw mutants in Uncanny X-Men. And in September, Eve Ewing and Carmen Carnero will find Kate Pryde and Emma Frost mentoring a new group of X-Men into the future of mutantkind in Exceptional X-Men.

Beyond those three titles, Marvel also revealed that six additional series are on their way. The only thing revealed about these was the logo for each series: X-Force, X-Factor, Phoenix, Storm, Wolverine, and (in a surprising return) NYX.
