Celebrate 60 Years Without Fear In ‘Daredevil’ #8

Sixty years ago, the world met Matt Murdock and his costumed alter ego. In April’s Daredevil #8, Marvel Comics celebrates that massive anniversary with an extra sized issue.

Daredevil is probably the hero with the most consistently good run in his history. We’ve seen the biggest names in comics do extended runs that made their mark on both the character and industry. With April’s issue #8, many of those writers and artists return to celebrate with Matt and friends.

Leading off with the latest chapter of Saladin Ahmed and Aaron Kuder’s run on the character, the issue will feature six additional stories spanning Daredevil’s history and influence. Ahmed and Kuder will see Matt and Elektra teaming up to stop the unsettling truth of the gang that’s settled into Hell’s Kitchen, while continuing Matt’s war against the demons that have escaped into the Kitchen.

The issue will also feature:

· Ahmed teaming up with rising star Tommaso Bianchi showcase why Elektra is truly a woman without fear as she single-handedly goes up against a whole army of the Heat on a daring rescue mission!

· Visionary Daredevil scribe Ann Nocenti and acclaimed Marvel artist Stefano Rafaelle return to the 80’s as they present a vintage flashback adventure of Daredevil taking down Turk and his fellow mobsters within the confines of a steamy bath house.

· Daredevil: Gang War writer Erica Schultz and Marvel’s Stormbreaker artist Jan Bazaldua shine a light on Elektra’s current role as mentor to Alice, her young ward from Chip Zdarsky’s Eisner-nominated run!

· Elsa Sjunnerson of Women of Marvel and artist Erica Koda show how Matt Murdock inspires generations, in and out of costume!

· 90’s DD scribe D.G. Chichester and superstar artist Ken Lashley bring you a never-before-told showdown between Daredevil and the Punisher set during Chichester’s landmark ‘90s run.

· And Ty Templeton delivers more of his iconic Daily Bugle funnies!
