Wizkids Brings A Little Magic, And A Little Dragon, To Your Gaming Space

by Anton Kromoff

Welcome to the table,

When I was a kid I very briefly had a small gnome PC I would adventure with who had a tall wizard hat and a cape with scalloped leathery edges and a strange texture to it. In truth, the cape was a pseudodragon and my character was its assistant. The novelty of that to a child of maybe 12 years of age never grew old. While I only played the character for a bit and never got to have an epic moment to unfirm the wings of my living cape, the idea of it stuck with me and has always kept pseudodragons near and dear to my heart.

Like a blast from my past and in brilliantly detailed sculpt, the fine folks over at WizKids have done it yet again. In addition to their hoard of brilliant dragon heads and other assorted trophies, they are now producing a life-size pseudodragon figure from their Replicas of the Realms line.

This thing looks like it crawled right out of the monster manual, with scales so detailed you keep waiting for the thing to take flight.

The talented team over at WizKids also managed to capture the essence of the pseudo dragon’s mischievous charms with slightly opened eyes and just a touch of a toothy grin.

This is the perfect gift for an old-school D&D player, a new-school fan, someone who loves dragons, or just someone who likes to get cool things. I seriously can’t get over how beautiful and seriously cool this is. You can grab one at this link and add a bit of magic to your gaming space, living room, or anywhere you want to decorate with a delightful dozing little dragon.

Until next time, the gnome’s name was Psu pronounced Sue and the dragon’s name was Doe. I was a child, it seemed so clever at the time.
